2022 Adrian Summer Youth Programming
Adrian 2040 has partnered with the Adrian Sports Boosters, Frontier STEM Hub – Malheur ESD, and OSU Extension – Malheur County to apply for the Oregon Community Summer Grant. If awarded, these funds will provide a wide variety of summer learning and engagement opportunities for Adrian-area youth entering kindergarten – 12th grade.
If the grant is received, all camps will be FREE for Adrian School District and Adrian-area youth. Space is limited, so register today!

Adrian 2040 recently completed the process of establishing itself as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This will allow the group to seek grants and partnerships with outside agencies and entities, as well as to accept donations from anyone wanting to support our work. This new status also allows Adrian 2040 to register with Amazon as part of their Smile program, where a percentage of orders can be targeted to be donated to the group. Adrian 2040 anticipates that it will again use grant funds to support a variety of
summer learning and engagement opportunities for Adrian-area youth entering kindergarten – 12th grade. Last year, camps in photography, sewing, basketball and volleyball were offered, and we are currently finalizing the lineup of camps for this year. More information will be posted once details are finalized.

What is the purpose for this website?
This website is a project of the Adrian 2040 community group, and it’s intended to help build communication about what’s going on in our community. We have identified a need for a community calendar, and a place for community members to share information about projects and events happening in and around Adrian. In the coming months, we hope to expand the site to include profiles of area businesses, and to shine a spotlight on some of the annual community events.
